braaap
Why did you go with the corner overflow over a back wall middle? I had a major delemia deciding on mine and went with back wall middle. You get the MP10 yet? Mine are on their way. Supposed to be delivered Monday! What size sump are you planning? Why a Reefkeeper over Apex? Link to comment

Why a Reefkeeper over Apex? have always like them more on the corners for flow and scape reasons. mp10 will be bought after the tank is here plumed and running. going to use a wp10 for the time being, might end up using the wp10 with the mp10 depends on what the corals like. sump is about 15 gallons. reefkeeper cus i have it already from an older build. cuz back wall middle overflows are fugly. no offense that too. JR!
so i have been up in the air about filtration and im thinking about skimmer only for this build. i was thinking the aquamaxx ws1 or this one i just found http://www.fish-street.com/coral_box_d300_dc_skimmer Link to comment

HarryPotter
Those Coral Box skimmers look nice. The reviews appear promising too. Looks pretty cool- plus pretty cheap compared to similar SRO or BM models. Tagging along to see how it performs! Link to comment
JR!
thanks guys. gonna look into the coralbox more. hope it fits in the sump when id like it. update the title too. might tell you something about the proposed scape that im going to do. maybe like this Link to comment
hey
Just don't oversize the skimmer too much or you end up in the boat I was in and it not pulling anything unless over fed. I can imagine a 15 not taking much to be an appropriate size. Carbon and a skimmer is very solid filtration plan imo tho. Link to comment
