Murphs_Reef
Oddly, or maybe not my hermits and snails seem to have just woken up in the last few hours, until now they have been very slow and not moved around at all. I did turn the venturi on will messing with my wavemaker ( just under powerhead) would that make a difference? Other thing I mixed water to 1.024 (only 20 litres) for a water change as I was sure that's what I set the last lot to, only seem my mistake when I looked at a post I made on here!! So over the past few days my salinity has dropped by 0.001 from 1.026 to 1.025...maybe that's it? - 25 gallon tank - NH3 0 - NO2 0 - NO3 0 - pH 8.1 - Salinity 1.025 - Temp 27 C Best regards Chris Link to comment
metrokat
Sometimes high level of magnesium will make inverts lethargic. Since magnesium is a salt, a lower salinity could have helped lower magnesium. Link to comment

Exodus
Not sure what Species of inverts you have but years ago I used to keep my salinity at 1.026 and did 1 hour drip acclimation's and without any other issues I always had a hard time keeping Snails and crabs alive, Finally I dropped the Salinity (over a 1 month period) down to 1.024 and have never had troubles with them sense.
