Hello Everyone :)

Me and my wife are 1st time salt water tank hobbiest, and we are already addicted! We got a great deal on a 75 gal tank with a sump. We are almost 100% cycled, and have 3 Damsels and have about 10lbs of live rock mixed with some orig cured rock.

I exam it about every hour lol... What is the clear slim located in this crevice? Give some tips and recommendations of amazing beginner stuff to add :) don't know how to add pics lol

Welcome! I can't really tell from the photos. but as for advice, you'll definitely want more rock. It doesn't have to be live, it can dry rock (look at reefcleaners.org), but your going to want about 30 pounds more at least. The rule of thumb is 1 lb per gallon, but you can get away with less if its really porous (like reefcleaners rock). Reefcleaners is also amazing for clean-up crews. Additionally, I would get rid of the damsels if I were you, they can get aggressive and be a real PITA. But it's your tank. :) Just thought you should have a heads up they can get mean.

Nano-Reef is a great site for info. You should read up on all the stickies in the Beginner's Forum and Igreen's guide to nano fish, while not perfect, is a good guide for fish in the hobby :)

Can you post a full tank shot?

Thanks!! Yeah I was just using the Damsels to help cycle. We have some more old live rock that we are cleaning too! I tried a whole shot but it was to big. But I will try again in a little bit! Thanks again!!
