emu1sive
Hey yall! I need to get some circulation going for my new 10 gal setup. Hoping to stay under $50. Considering: 1 Jebao 10 wp or 1 Koralia 240 or 420 or 2 Koralia ___? Here's a pic. Link to comment
emu1sive
Considering: Jebao RW-4 Wavemaker with Contorller, 130-1000 GPH Link to comment
Caravanshaka
the RW-4 is a good little pump. I have on providing flow in a 22x12x8 area and I have to keep it turned down below 50%. Link to comment
jabeuy
When I ran a 10g, I used a koralia 240. Then upgraded to wp-10. The wp-10 I could only keep at the lowest wave mode, all the other modes were too much flow for me at least. Link to comment
LebaneseDlight
Go with the RW-4. It's a GREAT wavemaker. I love it so much I bought a second one for my 20g. Totally silent and definitely not overkill for a 10g. I've owned MP10s in the past, and this thing aint an MP10, but at 1/5th the price it's like 80% of the performance. Plus, you'd only be using the MP10 at 20-40% anyhow... Link to comment
emu1sive
I have seen many comments about the RW-4 being too powerful? Also considering an AC70 as a hob fuge? Thoughts? Link to comment
LebaneseDlight
I have my two RW-4s on 80% each. I have an SPS tank. It's not overkill. I also have 1.5" sand bed, and I dont have a sand storm. from what I understand, the RW-4 is more controllable than the WP10 (which is the predessesor for the RW-4). It's more powerful, but you can dial it down lower if need be. Link to comment
evilc66
If it's too powerful and you want more fine control over the output, then run it on a 12v power supply (runs on a 24v supply out of the box). This cuts the flow rate in half, but still allows the full range of features. Link to comment

My rw-4 on anything but w1 and low pulse makes my fish red scooter dragonette's just sit on the rocks. Link to comment
