Spiderguardnano Posted March 29, 2015 Share Posted March 29, 2015 So this tank build started around janurary after i was given this tank by my lovely gf lol was going to take a break from the hobby but just couldn't leave it was to hard so ill keep this short and get to the equipment list and of course the most important part the PICTURES! Mr Aqua 32g Radion xr15w w/rms mount Mp10 Mame overflow vertex omega 130 sicce 2.0 return marco rocks 30lbs tropic eden reef flakes pimped out sump lol Scrips Natural Sea water NEW FTS 4-18-2015 Here is the sump before and after i ended up getting new baffles and spray painting the back of the sump came out pretty good cheap way to make a cheap sump look semi pro lol After Here are the up to date shots taken last night i added my cuc from reef cleaners just wanted to say I've been having amazing results with nsw after a water change everything is open like crazy and look really happy.. nothing can compete with mother nature and its really obvious I will be adding my livestock pics soon let me know what you guys think about the setup so far ova and out -spida Link to comment

I noticed in one of the pics that you have a long nose hawkish as well as a unarmed perchlet (geometric hawkfish). From my understanding, these 2 should not be housed together. The long nose will bully the geo causing it to cower and hide all the time, eventually refusing to eat. How are your's behaving together? Sweet set up and looking good. Ahh I thought you were doing SPS too. I have a lot of SPS now so I boost immediately when I do water change some Magnesium and Potassium. I have started testing and I seem to deplete 1dKH every 2 days so I have started dosing 2 part to keep me at 7. Need to figure out the math to make the dosing constant instead of 6ml of 2-part every 2 days. Keeping it at constant 7dKh has kept my pH rock solid at 8.5 so don't want to mess with that. My SPS are probably not growing as fast but they are retaining all color so it's a tradeoff I'm willing to make. Link to comment
