APLATN13
Well, I got this clam 2 weeks ago. I got it from a seller and the bag busted during transportation. So, I inspected it and put into my frag tank. I have noticed I can see inside the clam. I'm not sure this is normal but looks crazy. Any tips? ThanksAnthony Link to comment

metrokat
If the clam is gaping so much that you can easily see inside then it is starving. A couple hours after lights out check on it and if it is gaping bad then it is on its way out. JBB on here was able to save a gaping clam by providing a 24/7 light on the clam. It may not work but you can try. They also consume nitrates, phosphates, ammonia and phytoplankton. Make sure your tank is not too clean and dose live photo if you can find it our phytochrome from Brightwell. Based on the scale , clam on top of frag plug, this clam is very very small. Survival rate at this size is low. Good luck Link to comment
