seabass
A HOB filter could provide enough flow by itself. Otherwise, a Koralia 240 could provide a fairly strong current. Link to comment
PathOfDeception
Yeah definitely a Koralia 240, you would be at just over 40x turnover rate which is plenty current for most applications. Link to comment
Sugardaddy1979
My lfs has a Fluval spec v with a koralia 240 in it. Works great. Of course, they also have a Hippo Tang in it so....... Link to comment
tibbsy07
Honestly, I had a koralia 240 in my 5.5 and it was WAY too much. I ended up using an AC70 with the AC30 impeller. Sometimes I swapped back to the AC70 impeller, and I tried a number of different flow options, but my corals were happiest with the AC70 with the AC30 impeller Link to comment
Sugardaddy1979
I think the shape of the tank and the rock structure have a lot to do with it too. She spec is long for a 5. Link to comment
