I upgraded my small sump to a Mega Flow 4, which is holding approximately 23 gallons right now. I'd like to keep my sump bare to assist in cleaning, but should I be adding more rock to help in filtration for the increased volume of water? Link to comment
Neebles Posted March 26, 2015 Share Posted March 26, 2015 I could be (and am probably) wrong but I wouldn't think so...you aren't adding livestock or bio load by replacing your sump..if anything the extra volume may help dilute your bio load a little more(?) Link to comment
