Hi my name is Kyle, long time reader first time blogger.

Starting a new nano as mentioned above. Tank has been sitting steadly empty while I study pretty much everything there is to. :)

Starting slow, my main goal is to run mostly LPS and some SPS.

Specs:

Tank:

*aquatic style nano 25G + sump. (All-in-one)

Filteration:

*Japanese koi pads + filter wool in overflow pre filter section

*seachem matrix carbon - phosguard - purigen - I know it's a lot but I want all three :) in first trickle filter basket in sump.

*2 litres of Marine Pure spheres in the bio section of the trickle filter.

*finally hits the included skimmer which is pretty much a SWC Xtreme 120 (1200litres per hour) nice skimmer for this tank size.

Then heated/cooled back to return 1000-2000LPH (not sure yet which LPH I want)

Display:

*will be ordering caribsea Liferock 18kg which is 'painted' with a coralline color and injected with bacteria spores to reduce cycle time. I email Caribsea and they confirmed real coralline will overgrow the 'paint' as I don't want to interfere with real coralline growth.

*caribsea special grade reed 1-2mm sand for substrate

Lighting:

*included Cree 36 watt white, blue/red/green (3watt LED's)

Planning on having a pair of clowns to start after cycle.

Will be using seachem stability to speed cycle not that I care how long it takes :)

Salt: redsea coral pro

RO/DI 4 stage 400LPH :)

Everything is up and ready, only awaiting the dry rock ATM.

Hopefully start filling her up next few weeks ;p

Hoping to keep people updated

Obviously any advice is appreciated?!?!

Cheers
