I've read too many horror stories of these things just emptying themselves into the tank while people aren't home. I'll stick to my syringes for dosing and water top off by hand throughout the day. gus6464 Posted March 27, 2015 Share Posted March 27, 2015 Any doser no matter how expensive it is can fail like that if it encounters a huge power spike when electricity comes back on. This could be avoided with a power conditioner and setting a controller with pH probe to shut off the doser if pH level goes above say 9. Link to comment
