wicked photo i think. unfortunately the plate does not inflate like that anymore... (figuring out why slowly). clam was a little premature (died 1st week), but it was pretty. do you all know the kinds that have the electric looking/flashing rims? i would like one like that one day... also picked up some

Nice IM tank! That plate coral is stunning.

I think a lot of people use photobucket to host their pictures. Once uploaded, you can click on the photo and to the right you'll see Copy IMG link. Once copied, just paste in here. Should have no problem adding them all.

is it common for these shrooms to change the colors of the "bumps" in the babies? or is it a maturity thing?

still dealing with cyano as well, gonna try chemipure elite here pretty soon, already changed up flow patterns.

I MOVED MY TANK! 1mile down the road to a new house. That was some work, for sure. However my wife allowed my to get a new doser and stand/cabinet as you can see now!

The corals have been doing amazing since dosing. 1 gallon a day water changes for a month help jump start the process. So here is my current status at a little over 1 year old!

There is much room for improvement, but everything appears to be doing well. Also, my ricordia finally started splitting! And, I believe I finally got a mixed reef to growing! Will be adding some peppermint shrimp soon. Had to part out with some corals and fish over the year, as they were of course issues.

Still trying to escape "the frag tank look" that my wife teases me about.

I'm glad to say that reefing has become a new rewarding hobby to me and all my family and friends!

so, had an off day. cleaned and rearranged the tank. i think it looks more colorful and spaced corals out nicely...? what do you think? Also, played with the white balance to get true colors on my photos this time.

Check out this growth and polyp extension! At least i think it is good.

Sweet tank, I like the growth shots. I also like the coral diversity in general.

Doesn't look like you've had a huge issue with algae either - which is pretty cool.

Looking pretty good! A really nice mixture of corals in this tank. Please keep posting pictures.

thanks, since this is our first tank we wanted a mixed reef. so far everything is doing ok! and yeah, we will keep posting!

Hi, very nice tank. I have seen your thread but this was the first time I looked at it, sorry about that. I will be checking up on it now that I have seen it. I especially like the changes you made after the move. Good job!

today's FTS

23458145336_d2feb7e922_z.jpg

duncan

23116300929_ec4cc54c2d_z.jpg

had some issues recently :(

12h before leaving for 9 days straight, return pump failed and attempting to rig in my backup used for mixing water, the plumbing flanges broke.... had to home improvement store it and get CPVC fitting and vinyl hose to fix. the trick is heating the hose in hot water to make it manageable. got a sicce now, but not as quite as i hoped... even the ecotech powerhead adds more noise than previous on my system... but flow is better. i think this issues sets me back about 2 months on the pink acan though. everything else did fine.

p.s. i think you can see my coral stash under there ;)

p.s.s. sold some stuff locally, posted the exact coral measurements, had 3 people show up to buy. they ALL said "i swear that tank is bigger in the photos!" and then go on to say that they have never seen less than 50 gal systems work, much less 16gal systems... they bought the corals, said even though they were much smaller than than what they wanted they were very impressed with my tank!
