Torch tentacles splitting?

I got my torch a couple of weeks ago and it seems pretty happy now that I have it in a place with the right flow.

 

I didn't notice until a couple of days after bringing it home, but the head looks like it has recently split, and now the tentacles seem to be splitting - I assume this is normal? Or did I get a frogspawn by accident?

Think of it as a cell. They split down the middle to make more.

Yea it's a frogspawn.

That's normal, my torch ends up spliting tentacles to make more as it splits. A frogspawn will have multiple little bulbs/bumps on one tentacle and a torch only has a bulb on the tip.

Thanks for the responses. The second tentacle sprouts seem to be making their way down toward the mouth, so that seems to be consistent with them splitting.
