spaceball.gifHello fellow reefers I’ve been a long time aquarium hobbyist primarily FW I switched over to SW after getting rid of my 55g Cichlid tank about 2 ½ years ago. I finally upgraded from a 29 gallon to the 40 and now have something to post about.

 

The system:

Tank: Aqueon 40 Breeder

Lighting: Orbit Marine DT / Aquastyle Fuge Light in Sump

Sump: DIY 20g High AGA

Skimmer: SCA 301

Plumbing: Grech CHJ-3000

Flow: Jebao wp25

Controller: None.

Refugium: Large Tube Worm Rock Structure with Macro Algae

Stand: DIY

Rock: BRS Reef Saver mixed with various pieces from my 29 gallon.

Sand: Caribsea Special Grade mixed with Bahama Oolite

 

Inhabitants:

Fish:

-Ocellaris clown

 

Coral:

-Softies: Rainbow Bubble Tip Anemone, Red Sea Pom Pom Xenia, Red Mushroom, Kaleidoscope Clove Polyps, GSP.

-Zoa/Palys: Various “Insert cool names here”

-SPS sticks: Green Acro (Not able to id due to growth pattern LFS owner has no idea of id), Green Birdsnest

-SPS other: Red Monti (Currently morphing polyps are turning green), Idaho Grape Monti, Red Monti Digi

-LPS: Purple tip Branching Hammer, Acans Red/Orange, Green Favia Brain Maze, Duncan, ORA Green Goniopora

-OTHER: Orange tree sponge

Sounds pretty cool! Try using flickr for photos, makes it a lot easier.

I have a flickr account how do I get the images to show without having to post the link. Mission complete lol.

hows that orbit fixture working out? Seeing some growth?

Its still working great I tried the new Orbit Pro didn't like to spread from the tank mount option. Growth has been steady. This was about 2 weeks ago it was a fresh cut frag 3/20
