VW_TDI_02
The height of the light should depend on the spread you're trying to achieve. Too close and you run the risk of shadows but too high you'll get a lot of spill over and that all depends on your tank dimensions. your intensity will depend on the depth of your tank. If it's the 20 long and you only want to keep zoas and soft corals then I would definitely keep that thing low to begin with (20-30%). Just make sure to start low and then slowly ramp up and pay attention to your corals. Too much light kills them a lot faster than not enough light. Link to comment
SpankythePyro
Alright, I've had it default set to 25% blue and 15% white so I'll see how that goes. Link to comment
CronicReefer
The best way to tell with zoas is they should not be reaching for the light, if you see this then bump up the intensity another 10% and see how they like that. Almost all my zoa colonies lay flat against the rocks and have great color. Link to comment
