My Fluval Edge 6g adventure

While I used to have a 180g turtle tank, this is my first foray into saltwater aquariums. I managed to find a Fluval Edge on clearance for a screaming deal and couldn't resist the temptation. I'm a scuba diver, so the chance to have a little piece of reef right on my desk at work is tremendously appealing. I managed to get everything cycled and have added a few critters, as well as a DIY LED light so I can keep corals. The corals are currently acclimating to the lighting, so I'm keeping the levels on the lower end and the corals on the sand and toward the corners.

The fish, crabs, and snail I got from my LFS. The corals are frags that a friend of mine gave me to get me started.

Here are the specs so far:

Powerhead: Koralia Nano

Filter: AquaClear 20

Media: prefilter sponge, sponge in media compartment, carbon, polyfiber

Lights: A DIY arrangement with 2 Cree 3ups (2RB, 1NW), an OCW and a Cree violet 3up running on a DIM4

Heater: Cobalt Neo-Therm 50W

Thermometer: Coralife cheap-o digital

Livestock:

4 red-legged hermits

1 Nassarius snail (Mr. N)

1 yellow watchman goby (Malcolm)

1 Kenya tree (was bleached already when I got him)

some dark green zoas

some green star polyps

a hammer coral? torch?

a frogspawn coral

1 other unidentified coral

Everyone seems to be eating and happy. I just got the corals a few days ago, but the other livestock I've had for a couple of weeks.

If anyone has some suggestions, tips, or other helpful information, I'm all ears!
