Peeleca
Noticed a new organism in the tank. It seems to be growing and spreading rapidly. It is in the rocks and has nearly engulfed a trumpet coral. It is the clear rods in the photo. Do I need to be worried? Link to comment

Peeleca
Any idea what may cause them to grow so rapidly? The coral was white today, covered! I removed the trumpet and it all wiped off very easily. Thanks again for the help and good news! Link to comment

Thanks again for the help and good news! lots of particulate matter in the water, some people have issues making them grow for them They are good filtering your water in part for you Link to comment
SquishyFishy
I have this same stuff I just noticed too. They were on the rock, and I thought they were a sponge. But tonight I turned on the lights to inspect everything and they were all over the matt of my GSP! Why shouldn't I want to get rid of these. During the day, you can't tell they are on the GSP, it opens just like normal. Link to comment
