While she is doing homework, i will be working on my mr aqua 12gal build. So this is my plan, some of the stuff i have and some still working on. Equipment Tank: Mr. Aqua 12G Long (35.4" x 8.3" x 9.4") Stand: 6 drawer dresser Lighting: 27" Maxspect Razor Wire Suspension Hanging Kit Overflow: Dual 1" Bulkhead W/Screens Sump: 20 gallon Micron Sock Gravity fed top off SCA 301 protein skimmer Well i guess let it begin Link to comment
BOBBARKER68
so i took apart the drawers and turned them in one piece. That way when i have to tinker in the sump i have plenty of room. Link to comment
chonathin
Looking great! Cant wait to see it all set up! Link to comment
crashburnoveride
I repurposed a dresser for my stand too. I love giving old things new life. I'm excited to see your setup. Sidenote, would been cool to keep one side of drawers functional to house food, chems, etc. Still cool tho!! Link to comment
Mr. Microscope
Clever modification. Looking forward to more. What are your livestock plans? Link to comment

BOBBARKER68
I repurposed a dresser for my stand too. I love giving old things new life. I'm excited to see your setup. :)Sidenote, would been cool to keep one side of drawers functional to house food, chems, etc. Still cool tho!! I did think of that, but i would have lost space. By me doing this i gain the negative space between the drawers. Clever modification. Looking forward to more. What are your livestock plans? Thank you, as for stocking idk yet. Thoughts or ideas? BOBBARKER68
This showed up yesterday while we were bummin around town. When i opened it up i was surprised to see they also sent the matt for the tank to sit on. Well now i have some holes to drill. Here are the colors for the dresser. Link to comment

BOBBARKER68
Throw it together to get a rough idea. Have to plan where i can put my ato gravity fed, which will go on the right side above the sump i think. I plan getting a brs multimedia reactor that may go below it (future). On the left i will have all my electric, food, and other things Link to comment
Mirya
Go Panthers! I got by BS from UWM in '97. Anyway I love how your stand is shaping up. I love Mr Aqua 12s, so I'll be following along on your thread. Link to comment
cnseekatz
Sweet retrofit! I liked the paint the way it was all faded and beat up. I think it would have looked neat with a tank on it, weathered & beachy looking. I suppose you'd have to have a room that could handle that look though... I feel like I'm seeing more of these Mr. Aqua long 12g tanks... Super cool, good luck! Link to comment
D Z
Looks like this is shaping up to be quite the nice build. I like what you did with the stand. Following along. Link to comment
