Definitely an investment into the hobby.... depends on what you want to do - my tank has been a long time planning and i purchased the Jr to start. before i even got the tank cycled fully, though, i realized i wanted to have more modules than the Jr would support, and upgraded to the lite. of course, i'm also a bit of a techno weenie so i wanted the LSM, VDM for lights, i have 2 temps and 2 ph, one for the display, one in the back to keep the heater in check, etc. so just think about how hard you might want to expand and how fast. that said, i do have a Jr no display. i opened the box and started looking it over to set up and looking into what they could do and decided on the lite instead. it has no temp or PH probe, if you are interested shoot me a PM and we can talk.
