I have a Ruby Red Scooter in my 30 gal. he has an awesome personality and gets along great with my Royal Gramma, two purple firefish, pygmy geometric hawkfish and two surviving chromis. Plus various corals.

Plus he looks pretty epic!!

Ruby reds are definitely a cool fish but you need a thriving pod population to sustain them in a healthy manner. I really like the ORA dottybacks that are available but some are more aggressive than others. I keep a Springeri with my two clowns and everyone gets along really well, the dottyback usually fights for food if I skip a day of feeding but he has never hurt either of the clowns or caused any fin damage. I think linear blenny have great personality and are active grazers.

Before I put him in the tank, it had nothing but pods for about a month, plus I add what I can get once a month. He shows me hes getting fat whenever I go look.

Whatever you decide on fish, research is the key. Dont end up like me, with a fuzzy lionfish stuck in a box so he doesnt eat more of my fish. Until I can find a good home for him.

I appreciate it guys I'm staying away from mandarins and scooters in this tank I do em in my bigger tanks.I've researched the hell out of this I just didn't know if these small slow moving options wI'll be a problem on bio load with 5 fish in a 29 I chose all small slow moving fish so it wouldn't be an issue I hope if anyone has feedback on that let me know . I do love the springer is but will they be too aggressive fore the rest of the passive fish in the stocking list. also that lionfish I live in mi are you too far away to let me save him

Honestly I would say my dottyback is no more aggressive than my female clown is to the male but I don't think this is standard from what I've read on forums. He generally sticks to the left side and my clowns stay on the right but it will sometimes hang around with the clowns and there is no aggression. I think your list is good though, you could possibly get a shrimp/goby pair which I always thought was a cool symbiotic relationship. I would get a blenny instead of a firefish but that's more of my personal preference. Royal gramma have really nice colors and are generally a well behaved fish.

You could also try looking at Chalk Bass and Lubbock's Fairy Wrasse. They tend to be shy at first until they get you to you feeding them and everytime you come by the tank, they dart out to say hi.

I don't think I've heard of having 3 Banggai Cardinals in a biocube, if anything you should go with 2. I feel like if you have 3 cardinals, it turns into how Chromis are if you have three of them without any danger, they pick eachother off :b lol.

Midas Blennies are pretty cool, but I'm not too sure how he will like your Clown Goby because when I had one, he attacked my shrimp goby so I'm not too sure how he will act towards a Clown Goby.
