what is it worth?

I wouldn't pay $30 if it was just a normal one. They grow too fast and are very common. The green one though looks nice, probably would pay 30 bucks for that. I got a 3 inch regular toadstool for free from my LFS. They had too many. Thing grew so fast it started taking up too much room in my 29gal. I ripped it out and tossed it. Didn't realize there was a small blob left. That blob has turned into a 1" tall toadstool with a 1" diameter head. Oh and its a lot more green than before.

I think its the normal one, still waiting for a reply on it. I do know he has a beautiful purple one but I don't think that is the one in the pic he sent me so will wait and see what color it is.

Pay what it's worth to you. That's all that matters in this hobby, really. It's all arbitrary pricing anyways. I don't like toadstools much, so I wouldn't pay anything for it.

I'm not too familar with toadstools but I thought they only come in bright green and different shades of brown/tan (maybe the lights are giving it a 'purple' look?)

I'd also guess that it's more tan than purple. They can get pretty large too (maybe too large for your pico). Plus, leather corals are known for their chemical warfare (can't remember if you run activated carbon or not).
