Gyre Fx130 overkill on a 20L? :)

Hi everyone. Been wanting a new powerhead for sometime. Koralias are horrible; I currently own a jebao wp10 which isn't all that bad. But seeing all the positive reviews and theory behind the gyre, I am sold. However, I do understand that this will probably cause a tsunami in my tank. Another reason why I am interested in a gyre is because I plan to upgrade to a 60-80g cube by the end of the year. Is there anyway to put in a gyre, put it on the bottom and shoot it at a 45 degree angle upwards? The 20L is a bare bottom as well so it won't be an issue. Let me know what you guys think! If not, I guess I will pick up another jebao.

I have a gyre on my standard 29, same base dims as a 20 long. I run it full blast. So no not overkill.
