Believe or not when I show my photos some people don't even know what corals are, and it's ok, I guess some people still don't know how corals can really look, but I know you all will enjoy them how I would like them to be enjoyed.I have over 40 or more macro shots of corals that I would love to share!! I use 2 bodies, some of them are taken with a Nikon D700 and some of them are taken with a D7000. The majority with the D7000, i feel more comfortable working around water with that one. If you have a nikon you will need a Nikon 50mm f1.8D it gives you the ability to change F stops manually, because when it is reversed the camera can't do it. F stop and shutter speed depends on the lighting situation, angle and colors of the coral and no tripod. Link to comment

I do have steady hands, and popular opinion says that ISO will ruin your coral pictures, I say thats a lie. Some of these pictures are taken in ISO of 1600 or 2000. Obviously the performance under ISO depends on the type of camera you have. Link to comment
