Jebao RW4 or MP10?

I'm really debating between these two pumps and not sure the route to go for my fusion 20 that I set up a little while ago... I see great things about the Jebao's, but have always loved the look and quality of the MP10... Any insight is greatly appreciated!

I have a RW-4, and purchased it purely due to it being 1/5th of the price. I'll have to take photos, but this thing looks just like an MP10. Even the cord is well hidden in the Fusion 20, as I've strung it along the top under the plastic clips of the screen top. Hence, it has no visible cords, etc.

I cant tell you how happy I am with the RW-4 so far. I find it has better power than the MP10. It's 100% silent. And it's SO much cheaper. That being said, if cost wasn't so much different, I would no doubt go for the MP10. But given then HUGE disparity on cost, the only thing that justifies the price tag is the cord not being in the DT. But, like I stated, if you're using the screen top, the cord really doesn't show any more so than the MP10s. Just my $0.02.

Since the new QD mp10s only have a different driver, I figured I would buy the current model and then the QD upgrade kit since it would end up running about 10 bucks cheaper...

I do have the screen top on now so hiding a wire wouldn't be bad...

It's not just about the cord in the DT, it's also about the motor not being in their either.

The MP10 is far better I had both and my Jeabo crapped out in about 9 months and was replaced with another vortech. They are far more controllable and powerful. Also there is not risk of stray voltage and there is less heat transfer to the water, all since the motor is outside. Also the Vortech can be controlled by an Apex which is pretty nice!

Thanks for all the suggestions! I went with the MP10 because I got it for a steal from my LFS for $165 :D ...now it's time to order the QD driver and bring it up to speed...

On a side note, I feel like now I really want to buy the radion XR15w Pro and ReefLink kit... is it worth it?

Definitely depends on what you want. I just helped a buddy set up an XR15w Pro over his Fusion 20 and he is loving it. I have a Gen 3 XR30w Pro, and am super happy with it.

All of this being said, I just ordered a NanoBox Tide for the Fusion 10 I am setting up. I am going to miss the controllability of the radeon for this tank, but the cost was half the price.

Yeah the XR15 just seems really nice for this size tank and I like the customization... $450 isn't a bad price point either.
