Do yall think i will be fine with a 20 long as a sump for now.

I don't see why not, I use 35 gallons for a 150 and it works, just make sure your skimmer fits where you want it to fit. :)

Things are starting to clear up. I have 2 filter socks, some ammonia and a super cheap powerhead coming in tomorrow.

Well so far the fish and corals i put in the tank yesterday looks fine, ill keep and eye on them to see how things are doing before i move more over.

Hey Mark how long would you wait before moving other corals over.

I would be adding Prime to the new tank just in case, and then wait a week to see what happens. You should notice some green algae forming on the tank walls, if it's similar to what I experienced, and if ammonia stays at 0 for a week then I would move them. I moved rocks and all to my 150 so I didn't experience any cycle.

I used biospira, about 15 lbs of live rock and the bio media that was in my aqua clear 50 from the 20 long to cycle the 75. My water dosent have any chlorine or chloramine since my house is on a well and i filtered the water with my ro/di.

Tank coming along well :D. Had some weird ALK issues but think i got a hand on it now. Made the switch from Reef Crystals to Kent salt and so far im liking it. Lost my clam  for some reason it never got its foot mounted and ended up suffering from stress, a lack of monitoring the system by me.

Everything is looking nice and colorful! Glad you like Kent, I'm still tempted to switch back to it.

What salt you using now?

A 25/75 mix Red Sea Blue Bucket (8KH) and Reef Crystals. This brings the KH down to a more reasonable level.
