12_egg_Omelette
Hey everyone I have a 12 gallon nano cube with an AI Sol Nano, I've been having a hard time fine tuning my light either to much or not enough. I was wondering if anyone who has this over a 12 can share their lighting schedule and intensity. Link to comment
Exodus
My lights turn on 8:am ramp till about noon to 50/50/50, that continues till 4:30 and begins to ramp back down turning off at 9 Link to comment
Polarcollision
Had the same light over an 8 gallon. Used the included fixture and 30% on all channels was plenty bright Link to comment
Exodus
Ok after doing a lot of reading about this particular fixture and finding out what others were doing to get "actual" noticeable growth which I have seen very little of in the last 4 years I have owned this fixture, It appears to dial in start upping all colors up 5% weekly and keep a close eye on the corals, if you begin to notice one losing colors/fading dial it back immediately, closely observe over the next week or two making sure they don't get any worse, from there ignore the whites and just begin upping the blues 5% weekly, from what I understand when the blues get upwards of 80/90 the colors begin to pop and the corals begin growing. I have good colors and slow steady growth but my fixture is 50/50/50, So I will be dialing back the white a tad and start upping my blues and see if I can get better growth. Link to comment
