kwsjimmy
What tank do you plan to use? What do you plan to stock this with? I might say upgrade the light Link to comment
Exodus
10 gallon you must be looking at a reef tank, avoid the Instant Ocean and get either Reef Crystals, or Kent Salt that have additional supplements for corals. Hydrometers are crap, use those you will just be looking for trouble get a decent refractometer no cheap eBay ones. API test kits are only good for Ammonia, Nitrites, and Nitrates, your wasting your money on the other tests and will just end up buying new test kits afterwards. Buy a $20 Electronic ph, and TDS meter digital and accurate. You are using RO/DI water correct? lastly I question if the light your buying will even grow softies... now if you just want 1 or 2 clown fish this setup would work great otherwise you need a bit more. I'm not trying to sound rude, I'm simply trying to help you do it right the first time rather than figuring it out later and spending a bunch more. Link to comment
ProtectDa2nd
Orbit marine makes a nice light for a 10g. I have one on mine and very pleased. Also wp10 wm is a beast in my 10g, I set it on else mode wich creates random flow or w1. +1 reef crystals +99 don't overstock Link to comment
