Its been a long time and i dont even know if a 57g is considered a "nano" anymore. I have a 29g with the Chinese D120 LEDS over it. I'm trying to figure out a budget friendly LED set for my 57g that im in the process of organizing items. Does anyone have any ideas? can i keep the D120? the most light intensive coral i own is a BTA

When I had my 57g I had a tek 6 bulb t5 fixture. Found a gently used one for $100. Had to replace the end caps and a ballast which was like $45 and grew anything I wanted to.

Getting a second is definitely a good budget choice. If you want a more controllable fixture on a budget, a reefbreeders photon 24 or 32 would be a good option. The Photon 32 would let you keep anything, anywhere in the tank while the 24 would require more selective stocking. There are definitely better LED units on the market, but the price is right.

I had a 57 rimless with 2 kessils 150s that I really liked. Now I have the reefbreeder fixtures for my new 75 gallon. Either will work great for you. Reefbreeders are cheaper.
