Ramfublio
Here's my process/progress on my first aquascape. First I bought Life Rock, and too much of it to boot... But I didn't feel confidant to break it up because of the purple coating. So I exchanged it and went with cured dry rock instead. I went for a simplified approach after going through tons of your pictures and going through the googles. Here is the question for all of you: Once you go through your aquascape how do you go about planning your color palette and locations of your corals? It seems like generally there is a more random approach rather than a planned one. I was thinking of getting fully dev. pictures and going into photoshop. Has anyone done that for a planning stage? -Ram Link to comment
Admonition
I like the new scape better Although I went overboard with rock my first time, I personally love less rock with open water/room for coral. As far as planning a color pallet, I'm definitely in the random category. The way I go about mine is I have an idea as to what corals I want in my tank. Then I simply buy them as they come up to purchase, choosing color versions of those corals which matches whatever color/s I currently need in the tank. Link to comment

hey
looks like a great base to start covering in corals, just make sure the same care goes into coral placement if you want to maintain the shape the rockwork has. Link to comment
Matteo
its sorta hard to do with frags but I just do mine on placement of who needs more light and flow and randomize it. over time when things fill in it wont matter too much IMO:) Link to comment
