Fluffeh Posted February 20, 2015 Share Posted February 20, 2015 Hi, so I've been looking for something to promote coral growth and I was advised to try the reef energy product. I have a biocube 29 with a mixture of LPS and SPS coral (only about 9 coral in the tank currently). What are some suggestions in terms of using this product? As I'm particularly careful about adding too many nutrients in the water, I want to be sure I use this efficiently. My thoughts are that I may use it the day before a water change only. any thoughts? suggestions? advice? thanks. Link to comment

phill1as Posted February 25, 2015 Share Posted February 25, 2015 Related question for a first time user. I received the A&B this Monday and the A had some globs in it (large enough to plug a srynge). I've shaken the product vigorously and most have dissolved but there are still a few smaller globs in it. Should I return the product and try from a different supplier? The expiration date is over a year away on it. Link to comment

dgphelps Posted February 25, 2015 Share Posted February 25, 2015 LFS has a great display tank with awesome color and they say they feed with this so I took a chance. Too early to say for sure but I definitely notice polyp extension, even the crab comes out to see what's up. I'm dosing roughly .5 ml for my pico tanks every other day or so. Time will hopefully tell. No negatives yet. Link to comment
