Wait, it is not stronger than diamonds, is it?

Diamonds aren't strong, they're hard. It's not that hard to break a diamond, I see it happen a fair bit at work and I've also broken a few myself.

I'm sure a drill bit made of pure iridium will be stronger, but then again pure iridium isn't going to normally be found sitting outside.

It fits for that strength in their teeth since they chew the rock surface all the time for algae

When that gets commercial application I want dentures made of them, or artificial enamel lol
