RJWalters
Do you guys think a pair of clowns would be happy is a 10gal tank or is that too small? If it is too small for a pair would it be okay for a single clown? Thanks Link to comment
michaelrzachmann
if its just those two i dont see it being a problem if percula or ocellaris IMO Link to comment
lkoechle
Clowns will use as much as you give them. I kept mine in a 10 for a couple months while setting up my big tank and once they got in the large tank, was surprised by how frequently they cross the entire tank (4 ft long). I personally think 10 is too small for a pair to live happily. I wouldn't go smaller then a 20 for a pair but that IMO. My mochas were very happy in my 20 Long, but I wouldn't keep them in anything smaller as a permanent home. Link to comment
Spoon Fed EM1
Definitely to me personally a 20L would be minimum for a pair of clowns... Link to comment
Maniu
1 Percula or ocellaris if you gotta have it. It will pay off in a long run and fish will be happier. Few things to consider: Clowns could become aggressive towards each other. (Even match.com-ed pair) Clowns are quite a bioload for smaller tanks. (Pigs and always hungry for more) Last but not least, they will jump. So if you decide to get one, make sure your tank is jump-proof. Link to comment
