limpert Posted February 7, 2015 Share Posted February 7, 2015 I bought this pair of clowns a few weeks back. They are eating well (NLS Garlic pellets) and seem to get along nicely. One of the clowns has what appear like white protrusions from its body. Could this be a parasite or is it the case that the larger clown is beating him up at night? Link to comment

Snow_Phoenix Posted February 7, 2015 Share Posted February 7, 2015 Are the protusions round and bump-like or slightly woolly? If round, then it's most likely lymphocytosis. If it's woolly close up, then it's fungus, which is quite rare in marine aquaria. Link to comment

limpert Posted February 8, 2015 Author Share Posted February 8, 2015 It looks like cauliflower, very weird. So far my other fish show no signs of it. I bought him with the other clown seen in the picture and they appear to have paired.. He's the smaller one and I'm not sure what happens at night. Maybe the female beats him up Link to comment
