Mr. Microscope
Hello dominguez! I recommend using the search function. There's a ton of stand builds here. http://www.nano-reef.com/index.php?s=6b2f78484db622262e9e2bd5943b33e6&app=googlecse#gsc.tab=0&gsc.q=building%20stand Good luck and to Nano-Reef! Link to comment

kriskristofferzen
Ive used this about 4 times in the last 4 years. overbuilt. You can play with the uprights and maybe take out a 2X4 or use 1X4 depending on your size particularly if its under 50 gallons give or take. Then use some bracing with the uprights and skin it with 1/2 to 3/4 inch birch etc, with a nice stain it'll be better than the NUVO stands and stronger too. Like I said, it's overbuilt but it will not fall down. Once you skin the stand, it will add even more stability if you use less uprights than the design posted. have fun! http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1567110 Here is a great video on building an ADA style stand. I saw that a while back, it is the bomb! Link to comment
ajmckay
There are tons of ways to build a stand... Take the opportunity to really plan what you want to do with your system and you can build things into the stand you otherwise wouldn't be able to after the fact. Things like an inset controller box... This is a recent stand that I thought looked nice and sturdy plus is made with simple materials. http://www.nano-reef.com/topic/359509-droppeds-32-gallon-first-try-at-building-a-reef/ Link to comment
