afyounie Posted February 3, 2015 Author Share Posted February 3, 2015 Surprised a Lubbock's got mean. They seem so passive. Meanest wrasse I had was a Pylei's, Cebu variant. It chased everything. Only thing it didn't mess with was my Exquisite. Not sure why. Link to comment

Only thing it didn't mess with was my Exquisite. Not sure why. I dunno what happened but he was hunting the new flashers down with a passion and flushing them out of their hiding spots. After a couple days I decided to put him in quarantine in time out. He attacked a chromis that I pulled out of the tank for treatment and decided that he'd just have it out for anybody at that point. Couldn't risk it with the earlei on order. Link to comment

Couldn't risk it with the earlei on order. That is insane. I don't blame you for giving it up. That earlei is one beautiful wrasse and would be a shame to lose to a Lubbock's. I sometimes see fish at the LFS here that people gave up because they became too aggressive. Once saw a trigger that would attack the glass if you got close. Link to comment
