Bill Nye
Anyone have any experience with these return pumps? I am very interested in buying one but its hard to find reviews for any of the DC series but the 12000. The main thing I'm curious about is how loud they are. I am looking to replace a Mag 5 which is extremely loud and also draws 44w of energy. Link to comment
saleen385
if the 3000 runs anything like the 12000 you'll like it. I have a 12000 for my 180g and you don't even here it running. Jim Link to comment
Cove
I have one but I haven't used it just yet, I heard they are silent and very reliable! Link to comment
jedimasterben
I've had a Jebao DC-6000 as my return pump for about a year now. No issues out of it, and super quiet. Link to comment
Benny314
Same as everyone else, I'm running a DC-2000. Supper small, Supper silent and it hasn't missed a beat in the 3 months I've had it. The remote speed control is cool, although I need mine at full chat all the time. If I'd got the DC-3000 I think I'd of dialled it back using the controller. The feed buttons cool too. Well built and a bargain (snagged mine for £55 brand new). Link to comment
Felicia
I just got a DC-3000 for my new tank and I really like it so far. It's very quiet. Link to comment

braaap
Yep, still chummin along! And you have the blue housing right? The DC-6000. Have you heard anything on the DCT-6000 silvering housing units? Is it still as quite as you have said? Link to comment

Is it still as quite as you have said? Correct, the blue housing 'old style' DC-6000 before Jebao switched to Jecod. I haven't heard anything different about the 'newer' pumps other than the control is different. Still as quiet as day one. Link to comment

If you cut the power does the flow setting you set resume or does it return to full speed or what? Link to comment
fishguywc
My DC 3000 (blue) does return to the flow setting prior to power being cut. Link to comment

jtgrimes
I love mine. Running currently on my 20 gallon long. Very quiet and love the ramp. My friend also is running this pump as well, and has no regret. Link to comment
