Steelen
So here is the deal. I had the frogspawn in the tank before my CUC arrived. Before that adding them it was full. After adding the CUC the Frogspawn retracts around this time of day. I notice a lot of snails in the area when it happens. During the day it stays full and bushy so to speak. Could it be the snails causing it to get pissed off at like 5-6pm? It stays all shriveled up the remainder of the light cycle. Did have a small ammonia spike after adding the CUC. Did a 20% water change which resolved it. Link to comment
StevieT
Do your lights go down at that time? They do close at night. My clown used to host a frogspawn. It never went inside its skeleton with the clown, only at night. It was fun see her sleeping sideways on the branches. Link to comment

But no my lights are on for three more hours (till 9). There is no skeleton visible just tiny knobs. Its full the whole day and before my CUC it was like that whole day till "night time". StevieT
Knobs are its skeleton. I can't see it having a time memory. Maybe a snail is climbing on it. Link to comment
NorthGaHillbilly
My guess is your lights are too Bright. Leds? Link to comment

I noticed snails on it yesterday and today there was one close to the plug. My guess is your lights are too Bright. Leds?Kessil. 10% brightness. And why would it around this time of day suddenly shrink to tiny knobs? Its full and bushy whole day long. Link to comment

I've just noticed that most lps will retract, on a regular schedgule, when there getting too much light. I get that with my acanthophillia when I change bulbs on them and the PAR jumps.
