wavemaker vs. powerhead.

Running a 6 gallon setup currently with a Koralia 240, and considering going with a Jebao WP10 Wavemaker instead. I don't know if I should be more concerned with the constant flow I get from the Koralia throughout my tank or would the Wavemaker be better suited? What's pushing me to do this is that my Clove Polyps never get a break, they are always getting pushed in one direction and never get a chance to fully extend. I get sad when I do water changes, it's the only time I'm able to fully appreciate them.

Tank consists of softies, LPS, and SPS. My apprehension in going from constant flow to waves is particulate waste not making it's way to the filter intake. However my tank is only 6 gallons and I keep my filter at it's highest suction.

Thoughts?

If your looking to get something with controllable flow I would get an RW-4 for your tank. About the same size as the hydor you have now but the RW-4 has flow rates from 500-4000L/h and it has wave patterns or constant flow. The only downside to the rw-4 is that else mode is too powerful for smaller tanks but you could definitely get some turbulent flow going with the different wave settings or on pulse mode.
