ajmckay Posted January 28, 2015 Share Posted January 28, 2015 I use thin rosin core solder - the stuff typically used for electronics. No need for flux if you use rosin core solder 40+ watt iron Pre-tin the contacts makes things easier IME. Good luck! Link to comment

Use the alternate tip that sticks out a bit. Then I file it into a point, for accuracy. Link to comment
