Replacement part question

Does anyone know where to get the biocube 14 filter wall connector? I was cleaning my pump and when I tried to put the tubing back on the small plastic part on the bottom broke and went into the connector..

Also if anyone knows where to get the tubing as well that would be great.

hmm, do you mean the plastic connector on the wall which connects the return line to the main display?

If this is what your referring, it sounds like something built into the wall and you may need to fabricate something.

Head to lowes and get creative. :)

Yup the plastic return flow elbow connector.

I know one side is 1/2 in but the other side seems bigger - 3/4 in ?

My main concern with getting something from lowes is if it's safe for salt water aquariums.

PVC tubing should be totally fine. Many plumb their sumps with this with success.

Also, some people with biocubes remove the elbow and just plug rubber tubing to the return. This is suppose to yield better flow as the elbow is slightly restrictive.

Ditch the elbow. Get 3/4 tubing from lowes and go right from the pump to the wall. You'll want to clamp it so that it doesn't come off. Those elbows reduce flow something fierce.
