ndrobey
I am cheap. I get limestone from the builder's supply and chisel it to shape it. All limestone was part of a reef at one time, so it's dry rock. Link to comment
ajmckay
Totally depends on what you like... I like the looks of the mined rock like marco rocks, BRS reef saver, and I think reefcleaners as well because they fit together really nice. But I purchased Pukani because I like the column shapes. The only thing that sucks about the dry pukani is it needs a while to cure. Overall I would just find some tank pics you like, ask what kind of rock they have and go with that - as long as it's decently porous. Link to comment
APLATN13
I want something super porous as I will have Mandarin one day. So need something that pods are able to hide and so on. So far I do like Marco Rocks the best. Just wish there Customer Support is much better. Trying to get some Cherry Scape for my tank.... Link to comment
ajmckay
I like the pukani for porousness... It's like a bunch of squiggly columns that are attached at various points, so there are a TON of little channels and stuff all through it. I'll see if I can snap a pic of what I mean. Link to comment

If he sunk it in the off the coast of Florida for a year he could sell it for $25 a pound. $2 a pound free shipping is a steal. Its like hes doing it for free. Link to comment

Van Schwank
I just ordered 30 lbs of reef cleaners rock as well.... John Maloney sent me an e-mail saying he would get it out Monday. I am pretty excited too... I think 30 lbs might be over kill for a BC 29 but, if I don't use it all I will just put it up for a rainy day (or a super awesome day when I get a bigger tank lulz Link to comment
