crusoe
Hey guys, just bought this http://www.nano-reef.com/topic/356443-nano-box-mini-tide-for-sale/ from a fellow NR member. I've been running this setup http://www.petsmart.com/fish/aquariums/marineland-10-gallon-biowheel-led-aquarium-kit-zid36-17298/cat-36-catid-300065 since Sept/14. My tank has ~10lbs of live rock, CUC and two clownfish. Didn't buy anything else as the stock lighting on the Marineland is terrible. My question is, what setting should I run at when I first install the new nanobox light? And when should I start cranking the lights up? Just looking for a rough timeline. Thanks! Link to comment
D Z
If you don't have any coral yet, then it really won't matter much. I would just go ahead and run it where you want as you do not have any coral to shock with too much light. There is a thread that people share their settings on if you want an idea of what other people are doing in regards to color temp/intensity. http://www.nano-reef.com/topic/341181-nano-box-settings-share-your-settings-for-your-storm-controller/ Link to comment
crusoe
Good to know! The fish will be ok with the increase in intensity as well? Amazing thread, thanks for that! Link to comment
