Should you add reef nutrients during the cycle? If so which are the best? If not during the cycle....when?

If I am thinking right, your salt should have enough nutrients for now and you should wait until your cycle is done. Test em and go from there. I'm just starting too so I could be wrong.

What do you mean by reef nutrients?

No need to dose anything until your cycled and you have the tank stocked with enough lps and/or sps corals to deplete nutrients at a level that regular water changes will not fix.

Thanks for the responses, a little overwhelmed by all the bottles of stuff you see at the store. Obviously I am a beginner.

Just getting back into this myself I'm cycling a JBJ 30 with just sand live rock and a few clean up crew. No fish yet but my ammonia levels were going up.
