Najay343
Looking for a battery back up to run my heater and my pump in my next power outage. I have a 100W heater and a 26W/420GPH pump i would like to be able to run 12-24 hours in the event of a power outtage. What kind of battery backup system should I be looking for? Link to comment
Horerczy
A UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply) would work. Generators are also good choices. Link to comment
vlangel
I bought a Bestek power inverter. I was thinking of a geneat or but I know you need to run the gasoline ones every 3-4 months and I knew I would not do that so was afraid it wouldn't start when I needed it. The inverter runs off a car battery so I can run an extension cord from the car, through a window to my tank. Mine costs about $70 but you can buy bigger ones if you need to. Link to comment
