Fluffeh
I have a few questions for those of you who own this light - how intense do you set the max brightness for your tank? how many hours do you have the lights on each day? what 'schedule' do you use? I have a biocube29 with the radion (i can't speak more highly of this light) - and im worried about putting the light on too bright and damage my coral. Link to comment

I would use the accumulation setting and start low and watch the corals reaction over the weeks it ramps up. Link to comment
Kellysnano
I have mine at 30%. When I first got it I used acclimation mode and then started slowly increasing intensity. I found that when intensity was at 55% some of my LPS started to burn so I lowered. 30 seems pretty good I think. I was using the reef radiance setting which looked nice but I'm currently have on high growth mode. Doesn't look as nice but corals are growing lots. I will switch back to reef radiance in a month or so. I tried setting up my own schedule / colors but can't get it to work. Somebody needs to write the book radions for idiots. Link to comment
abaro2
I have the Radion 15W on my IM Nuvo Fusion 20g and its definitely the nicest LED fixture I've owned. Its easy to setup especially with reef link and I feel set up is simple. I use the app on my iPhone and iPad and love the ability to adjust the different channels. It takes a little messing around to figure out EcoSmart Live but its definitely user friendly. My current setup is as follows: *Lunar Phases Activated 11:30 am - Ramp up from Lunar Cycle 12:30 pm - Lights fully on (set at 30% brightness, 100% all color channels, 15% white channel) 10:30 PM - Ramp Down to Lunar Cycle 10:30PM-11:30AM - Night cycle where max brightness is set at 3% to assist in replicating moonlighting which consist of UV and Royal Blue LED's 11:30AM-10:30pm = 11Hrs total of lighting at 30% Max brightness YouTube should have plenty of videos to help with setting up the radion, if not their customer service is definitely very helpful and wouldn't have any issues further helping you out. DocReef
I started with 30% and acclimation mode for 6 weeks. Been slowly raising intensity. My mid day whites max out at 55%. My blues max out at 75% at dawn and dusk. I have clouds during mid day to minimize the exposure to white light. Before this I was using more white light with higher intensity and lost 2 corals to bleaching. I now use a modified version of the preset reef radiance mode, with less whites and more blues since I have deep water fish. Link to comment
