CrazyCarl
Just came back from being away for 3 days to find my 3.5" kole tang is covered in ich, it is still eating and swimming normally, I have had it for over 2 months. I have 9 fish total in a 66G mixed reef that I would need to quarantine. Right now none of the other fish show signs of ich, but I do realize all will have to be quarantined. I have the tang 5 small lyre tail anthias, a mystery wrasse, a clown and a yellow assessor. I have a spare 16 gal nuvo, but I am thinking I will need a bigger QT to house all these fish for 6 weeks. What would be a recommended minimum size setup based on these fish (unless anyone thinks the 16gal is ok lol)? The consensus seems to be hypo salinity as a proven treatment? Should this be combined with copper? I remember reading something about some medicated pellets for treating ich. What are they, and has anyone had any luck with them versus quarantine? Any other tips or alternate treatments and comments appreciated. Link to comment

jack1978
Just get them into quarantine .... even a large rubbermaid tub will work. Cupramine is easy and works. Link to comment
