Is my LED Intensity and duration correct?

I have two Reefbreeders Photon 24's.

They turn on at 9am and turn off at 9pm and cycle up about a little per hour and max out at 45% before going back downwards.

Is this enough lighting for my predominately SPS tank or should I make any changes?

It is basically the default setting minus that I bumped it from 40% to 45% at the peak of the day.

LED intensity levels (or any lighting intensity) are completely subjective for the most part.

It is important to slowly acclimatise your stock to them (particularly LED's as they tend to be more focused and specific wavelengths), but if acclimatisation is done correctly, you can set the lights as bright as you want as long as its bright enough to support your corals.

The most important thing is to observe your corals and make adjustments accordingly. If corals are bleaching, back the lighting off or adjust their position or shade them accordingly. If they seem like they're not getting enough light bump the lighting up or as with bleaching, relocate them to a better spot for their needs. Blue's are reported as some of the most important wavelengths for growth, but you don't want an entirely blue lit tank so you balance them off with whites and other supplemental colours according to your preference.

Everyone has a personal preference to lighting intensity of the tank in the room and colour temperature eg 10, 14 or 20k or anywhere in between.

With regard to your tank.

How high over the tank are they? Do they have optics on? How does your coral look?
