Steelen
Is there a way to stop this thing from gliding down the glass? It is quiet annoying. Every time I put the lid on my tank it just glides into the sand so then I have to readjust it, getting my hands wet. Sorry for all these questions. First tank finally after so much reading and stuff. Link to comment
Partially Submerged
Give it less cord from the other side of the tank? Counterweight or something? Link to comment
StevieT
Make sure the glass is clean. Any algae or other will hurt the suction. Or as above. Zip tie cord to stick on square on back of tank Link to comment

StevieT
Yeah check the electrical section. Outside only so like the rear wall of your tank. If you need something inside then better suction cup or magnetic holder. But since the cord exits the tank I don't see why it can be on the back. Also look for stick on cord organizers. I have a few on mine and they hold nicely the cords without zip ties 3M makes some bad ass cord clips now. Link to comment
