What is your experience with flame angels and clams?

The Flame Angels tend to be a less nippy with corals and clams than other dwarf angels. Of course there is always a chance they may pick at other livestock.

my main concern is clams, I had a pygmy that never harmed anything, then one day out of nowhere he started attacking my clam so he got banished. really sad because angels have such great personalities imo..

I may give a little flame a try. I don't really care much if they nip corals, I just won't allow a clam nipper to stay in my tank. I figured with you guys being the clam pros I'd ask your experience.

thanks!

They do have great personalities! We have some smaller Flame Angels if you want to give one a try. You can place the order through our website and send me an email at alyssa@pacificeastaquaculture.com and I can pick you out a smaller one if you request.

I may do that in the future, I'm going to be moving soon and don't want to risk any more livestock than I already am.. thanks!

Hi there,

You mentioned you currently have a 40% off sale on clams. Most of the clams I'm interested in at are priced at $129 on your website....is that regular price, then take off 40%, or is that the sale price? Thanks.

Whoops, didn't see that part about the sale end date, my apologies. Do you ever get clams in that are 3 inches? If yes, ballpark, what do they usually cost? (looking at Maxima blue/teal coloration). The ones presently on your site are 2.25" - 2.5" and are $129.
