I was reading articles on edicarian fauna, and I thought "what sort of extinct creatures would have been awesome in aquariums?" Any ideas. My first thought was trilobite's, they seem like a good CUC part.

Much is unknown about aquatic extinction and thus the lack of interest.

If I could have something long gone in a tank it would be the Kracken. Specifically the one documented in the original Clash of the Titans documentary.

I would say a t Rex but you would need at least a 10000000 gallon tank or the t Rex police will come after you.

Velociraptors are better.

Mosasuar! I think it could fit in my 85. What do you think? If I do daily water changes Ican keep up. Plus its shallow so more horizontal swimming room! (I actually am on the hunt for a small mosasaur skeleton to mount in the fish room. Unfortunately, I missed the big fossil show this year :( )

I am also getting a chitton to be part of my clean up crew. Looks like a trilobite. You can play pretend!

I'm sure a sea world style orca tank would suffice.https://www.paleodirect.com/mosa1.htm . those chitons look lots like trilobites, so do some of those isopods.

did it work well?

Mosasaurus, like the one in the Jurassic World trailer! I remember there being very unusual sharks as well, including the infamous Megalodon. Another cool one would've been our ancient ancestors, and the first vertebrate on earth which was a very small (>1in) fish.

All of us and our pets contain particles and molecules that have been around since forever, so we are all prehistoric and keeping prehistoric pets in some way.
