Goby74
I've been building nanos for a few years now and it's a big passion of mine. I signed up to this site almost two years ago but I felt now is the time to try and get more involved. I've learned so much from all the great posts on this site so thanks to all that share their setups and write ups/tech info. I'm located in Boston so hopefully there's a few others on this site near me. But it would be nice to meet others in other areas as well. Thanks again for letting me be a part of this great site! Here are a few of my setups Link to comment
Pinner Reef
That is a sweet ass collection of corks... Also aquariums Stick around and show us some more of all those setup. Link to comment
ETucc
I want my house to look like yours one day! All of your tanks are gorgeous. My god, you have so many tanks that I want... shallow cubes. Is that a 3 foot long? How many gallons is it? Beautiful. I like that you have the basketball game on, too. I'm a Knicks fan though. Welcome sir! Link to comment
mechishark7
Welcome! Its amazing you've kept so quiet with all of those amazing tanks!!! And is that a 12g long in the last few photos? I'm planning on setting some up and I was wondering what light your using on that thing? Link to comment
Spiderguardnano
tanks look awesome man but you sir are a tank hoarder lol Link to comment
CollegeNanoKid
Those tanks look awesome. How long does your weekly routine take? They all look great. Welcome! Link to comment
Deleted User 8
Wow, how much time do you spend on tank maintenance? I would think there would always be some crisis going on with at least one tank. Like having triplets, one of them always has a full diaper. Do you live alone? Nice tanks. Really liking the shallow cube. Buzz Link to comment
Marc.The.Shark
Dude, you have a problem, alibet a good one! Lol, nice tanks! Link to comment

Deleted User 8
Dude, you have a problem, alibet a good one! Lol, nice tanks! Yeah, you need a 12 step I'm thinking. We all do though...can you imagine being jealous of someone at a 12 step meeting? Goby: [in a hushed, slightly embarrassed tone] "Hello, my name is Goby and I have like 13 nano reefs set up in my house. Several in every room. I think I might have a problem. It's been three days since the end of my last cycle" All: [warmly] "Welcome Goby!" All: [whispering through gritted teeth] "Bastard!..." Buzz Link to comment
jikiya777
there is nothing wrong with a little hoarding especially when its done so beautifully. man those are some wicked tanks Link to comment
DodgerDave
That's freaking awesome! But all the tanks are so far from each other. Weekly water changes/maintance must take some time! But judging from the pics, your doing things right. I currently have a 8 gallon pico and in process of setting up a 30 gallon cube. My wife wants me to get rid of the 8 gallon pico once the 30 is up and running. I'm going to show your pics and say, "but look at this guy, let me keep 2!" Link to comment
Goby74
Wow you guys are great! Thanks for all the kind words! I'm addicted and spend my Friday's doing 25-50% water changes on all my tanks. I dose calcium and alkalinity every couple days. I've still got a few tanks to setup just waiting for my Nano Boxes to be shipped one from Dave the owner and one from a forum member which he's patiently waiting for my payment. But I'd really like an an Elos Mini next. To list my setups I've got a Deep Blue 30 gal rimless with an eshopps sump 2xMP10 WES RKL monitor system and an EcoRay 60 over it, I've got an 8 gal Jalli with two ecoxotic old school 12" pan aroma inclosed led strips and a fluval C3, stock Nuvo Innovative Marine all stock setup, Fluval 14 gal AIO MP10ES with an Eheim 50/50 LED and an atinic micro mini Deep Blue LED, all white C-130 Red Sea Max all stock MP10ES with Chaeto in the chamber with a 10 watt In Tank underwater LED, 12 gallon long Mr. Aqua MP10ES and Ecoexotic 24" panorama led, trying out my fresh water skills on fluval edge 6 gal, and a custom 1 gal with 1/4 gal sump all acrylic setup even clear acrylic hinges which is my priceless gem. Here's a few additional photos as requested and thanks again for the warm welcome! Link to comment
PatrickO
Love the tanks they look great! I gotta show my girlfriend this thread and convince her to let me setup my 3 gallon on the kitchen counter. Im in Boston as well. Link to comment
Goby74
Kitchen counter is a great spot plus it's very convenient. Hope you get the approval Link to comment
waytoospicy
Wow, that is a lot of nano tanks. Have you thought about combining them and get a big one? Link to comment
Goby74
I used to have a 200 gallon tank but it was to simple. I like having a variety for different aqua scraping, corals, and fish. In the near future I plan on relocating my tanks to my spare bedroom that has a lot less natural lighting and placing all the tanks closer together in order to have ATOs running on all from one RODI or even connect them all together using the same water cycling throughout all of them and into a large sump as common filteration. I think it's called a loop system or something like that and just having the ATO regulated by the sump. This would make for much easier water changes and other maintenance Link to comment
Goby74
Not sure what's worse, my tank hoarding or my Bimmer hoarding :-) Link to comment
Goby74
Just a quick rock build 10"W x 6"D x 6.5"H as I'm wanting to get another nano setup. Anyone out there looking to let one go let me know :-) Link to comment
reefernanoman
Welcome! How many thanks do you have? Lol. Link to comment
Goby74
Decided to give away three of my tanks recently to some newcomers so there's only four tanks up at the moment. But I'm in search of a few Tunzi nano osmolators and an AIO nano tank Link to comment
LongDoggy
Nice rides and tanks! I have a similar combination - sans hoarding. Biocube 14 and 2011 E90 335. Link to comment
